We are looking for a mature adult to take our daughter aged 11 on public transport (train) from home to school in the mornings and back in the afternoon. Pick up time 8am and drop off at school at 8:30am. Pick up at 3:30pm from school and drop off at home at 4pm. 3 or 4 days a week but we are flexible. Our daughter has special needs and has motor deficit so she needs help crossing roads, getting on and off the train, etc. We would need a nanny with travelling and SEN experience.

Dear all We’re looking for a wraparound nanny to look after our daughter, Iris, after she finishes at the childminder as our current, wonderful, nanny is moving on. We would need someone from 5pm - c.7pm, Monday to Thursday. You would pick Iris up from her childminder at 5pm, bring her home to our flat (we live only a couple of minutes walk from her childminder), give her dinner and tidy up afterwards and then give her a bath. My partner (Dan) or I then takeover and put her to bed. For dinner, I will have pre-prepared something, so usually this is just a case of heating things through (and I can text you instructions each day). We work from home quite a lot, so usually either Dan or I will be home when you get back with Iris (though I tend to shut myself away at my desk so as not to distract and interfere!), but sometimes we will both be in the office. On those days, whoever is putting her to bed would be home around 6:30pm. My partner and I often work very long hours, so there may be the odd occasion (I think this has only happened once in the last 18 months) that we would ask you to stay a little bit later to help us out, perhaps even putting Iris to bed yourself. We would always give as much notice as possible, and of course it would be subject to your availability, but the ability and willingness to be flexible is key for us. We don’t get out much, but if you're ever keen to do any babysitting into the evening (weekday or weekend), we would also gladly take you up on that! Iris will be 3 in January. She loves reading and imaginative play, is incredibly talkative, funny, boisterous and loving and is a pretty good eater, so hopefully it would be a pleasant job! We would like to give Iris stability, so this job posting is for a permanent position (minimum 3 months). You will need to be DBS checked, have previous experience, and be able to provide references. Ideally you would be local, but if not please note that there is no parking available. I have 2 children (4 and 6). I am looking for a nanny to do the daily pick up from school around 3:30pm (varies with clubs in term time) and minding with some activities, such as swimming lessons, until 6:30/7pm. Preference is for someone who can start a bit earlier and in the afternoon and do some errands, including walking our dog and making sure the kids washing is done. So the basic role is 20 hours a week but happy to consider additional hours such as Saturday morning. I need someone with flexibility to take on additional evenings on occasion and sometimes to take the kids on the train to Oxford where their father lives. Outside of term time there is capacity to do longer hours for the holidays and also travel with the family when possible. Experience and references are a plus.
