Hello, I am looking to find a qualified nanny to help me look after my young son. He turned 4 years old in May 2022, and is very bright for his age (with a kind and cheerful character). Recently, I became sole parent and he in is my care 24/7 (outside of school). I'd like to find someone who can build a trusting relationship with him and support me with one or two school pick-ups from Guildford during the week (currently pick-up is at 5 PM), and bring him home to our house in Hindhead (GU26). An afternoon at the weekend would also be helpful so I can deal better with domestic chores(!) In time, it would be good to develop this working relationship to a point where later evenings/bedtimes can be accommodated, as well as some school holiday days. I’d like to find the right person for J to help him through the changes to his life and our family situation and give him the balance he needs (which, in itself, will help me to be the best dad I can be for him). We are looking for a nanny for our daughter from April when she will be just under 5 months old. My partner and I both work busy jobs and this can be either from home or the office so we may be around some days and not around others. We need someone comfortable with dogs as we have a dachshund and a Doberman. Both very friendly but clearly the Doberman is a big dog so you need to be confident with larger dogs. This would be a role for 1.5 years max at which point our daughter will go to a local nursery. I suggest you would need a car as we don’t live near a station and bus links are poor. We want someone who has plenty of experience with young babies who will be trustworthy, reliable and take amazing care of our daughter whilst we work. Experience of moving babies from milk to solid foods is important. First aid training for babies and DBS check required.
