I am looking for an afternoon/ evening nanny. The nanny needs to have experience of working with children with additional needs, be DBS checked and have good references. The child has autism with limited communication skills and is unable to occupy her time well. This can sometimes cause her to become upset but the nanny working with her will be given specific strategies for dealing with this. The nanny would be responsible for taking the child to local parks and playgrounds and engaging her at home with toys and learning activities. The role would be 5 days a week from 12-7pm. The role would involve the first few hours of the day doing light housework/ preparing play resources/ activities and then playing/ supporting the child once she returns from school. To start early September.
