We are looking for a dedicated Nanny to look after our one year (to be - not born yet!!) from January 2021. They will need to come and stay at our house from 7:30(ish) to (5:30ish) at the latest. Maybe earlier e.g. 4:30. All the requirements of looking after a young toddler will be needed: feeding, changing nappies, feeding, put down to sleep etc. etc. We would prefer someone who is a Christian, but not essential. The successful person will at least have the same ethos. We require someone who understands and is experienced in early childhood development, and someone who has a nurturing and loving personality towards little ones. My wife and I are both teachers, specialising in the primary years. We are also practitioners in childhood trauma and developmental interruptions; hence the need for someone who understands early childhood development, as this is paramount to the upbringing of a well regulated child.

Hey, we are a family of 6 moving back to Callington after a period in the Midlands, the move is expected to happen late August, Early September and I've been very fortunate to gain a role who can wait for me, so start date for childcare is pretty flexible within reason. Days and hours for work aren't yet agreed, and can be flexible to our childcare schedule. We have 3 beautiful boys who will require childcare, our 16 month old twins (18m at time of move) are a handful, but will love you as long as you provide wotsits. They love animals, dinosaurs, cars and generally eating dirt as most little boys do. Our 9 year old is an intelligent and hyperactive Minecraft fiend who will bore the pants off you with creepers and the nether. He has additional needs however there are no challenging behaviours, he just sees the world differently, in my humble opinion the world would be a nicer place if we all saw the world the way Olli does. There is likely to be a teenage girl in the mix too, but she basically grunts and makes tiktoks - occasionally to be seen to raid the fridge or ask you to participate in a random tiktok. we are a very laid back family who enjoy walking the dog, playing on the beach, climbing trees, just generally a country lifestyle. In terms of responsibilities, the twins will need feeding, naturally, and school drop offs for the eldest, and some homework help when he comes home, this can be a laborious process of having to remind him he's supposed to be doing his homework and making him sit still but hes a very advanced reader and very good at maths so its more 'getting him to do it' than helping him do it, snacks usually help. I think in reality we are looking for a nanny, but I really don't know where to start with the employment side of it, so this is something I'm investigating, but I would like someone who fits in with our little niche.

We are looking for someone to help with after school care of our 3 young boys from September. It would involve collecting the boys from Calstock CP at 3.15, 3 afternoons per week and looking after them until about 6, either at our home in Luckett or at your home if Ofstead registered. This would either be Mon, Tues & Wed or Tue, Wed & Thurs. We'd prefer a registered child minder, but not essential if qualified or experienced. Must have up to date dbs check. We are also looking for someone to clean our house once per week, for about 2 hours, also starting in September. This could be the same person or not, depending on your preference.
