Hi, we are looking for full week (Mondays-Tuesdays -Wednesdays-Thursdays-Fridays) after school nanny (3.30-6.30pm) for our kids A(girl-10Y) and A(boy-7Y) starting December 2024 in Trumpington, Cambridge. The job will focus more on A(7Y). A(7Y) has speech delays and will arrive with the bus form school around 3,45-4pm. He will then have a bath, snack, playtime. He likes to go to the local playgrounds so we need someone who likes to spend time outdoor when the weather allows. A(10Y) will arrive home around 4,35pm with the school bus. She is very independent although some supervision and prompting for homework might be required. More hours during term holidays and occasional weekend babysitting could be agreed as well. Me and my partner are looking for an experienced childminder to look after our 21 Month old daughter with Type 1 Diabetes. We are currently exploring our childcare options as this situation is very new to us, with Harper being diagnosed at the end of September 2024. Ideally, we would like childcare to start after her 2nd birthday, which is 21/02/25. We are looking for someone that is willing to take on a child with a medical condition. H currently has an insulin pump and she will require certain needs. These include things such as monitoring her sugar levels through an app on a phone, knowing what to do when her levels go above and go below the numbers in 'range' and how to manage things in worst case scenarios. Everything she eats will need to be 'carb counted' and put through the app on her phone, however me and my partner have discussed that we can provide a prepackaged lunch with the carbohydrates worked out already to make things easier for you. There is a chance of her having hypos, which will need to be managed quickly and efficiently. We are currently with the Paediatric Diabetes Team at Addenbrookes hospital who have told us they can provide the necessary training to whomever takes on board and looks after H. We understand that this may sound scary and can look like a big role to take on however I can assure you with the correct training and even just a few weeks experience, it wont sound as daunting as it does. We aren't expecting a yes straight away but we hope that us all working together we can provide H with not only a safe place, but a space where she can learn and become confident with other children.

I am looking for a nanny to look after two young children for my client in Bottisham. Ideally, you will have experience of both toddler and pre-school ages and be able to provide references. The role is to come each morning before school (7am until drop off time) and then again at 3pm to pick the little boy up from nursery first, and then his older sister from school. On coming home, you will help with getting something to eat and perhaps an activity, and bathtime. It is expected that you might work until about 6/6.30pm each day.
