I have a lovely, energetic, loving, funny, caring little boy who is 6. I am looking for some help ASAP by May/June. I think it would be best to meet in person to discuss this, but I have written some brief points below. I am an airline pilot working out of Bristol Airport. I don't do any nights away and I am home every night in my own bed. I know my working days a month in advance so we can plan it all out for the following month. It all depends on what I am working, when my son sees his mum, and what is left over to be covered by a nanny. Some months you would only be required for example, 5 days a month.. Sometimes others would be 10/15 days. Because of this, as I said, I am offering a minimum monthly salary regardless of the hours. For busier months you would get a ‘top-up’ of salary depending on actual hours worked. My work Sometimes I need to leave the house at 4/5am for 8-10 hours. You can stay over at the house or you can come to us at that time in the morning if you can get up that early! You would need to get up with my son, and take him to school. This would go on for a few days in a row, and then you would be off. Other shifts, I can do lates. So I would be at work from 1pm for example for 8-12 hours. On these days you would have to pick up my son from school, prepare dinner and put him to bed. You can stay the night in the house if you prefer or go home when I get back from work. As I said, it would be best to meet in person to discuss this and see it on a calendar. Basically it is very simple and you would have lots of time off!! I am happy to discuss salary for the right candidate. This would be help with my son when I am at work with the occasional babysitting and general tidying\basic cleaning. I am not looking for help on 'fixed' days of the month, as my work changes. If you have another regular job aswell, I can use afterschool clubs if required, so you can still have the ability to do another commitment. I am part time at work and my son also sees his mum on alternate weekends and some school holidays, which are known of months in advance. I obviously don't need any help at these times, but you would still get the minimum salary per month. This time off can all be planned ahead.
