Helping students connect their interests to subject matter they may encounter as challenging.

I am a published author, an editor, and a tutor. I instruct students at the downtown office of the Inspiration Learning Centre and also provide editing services to clinical child psychologists.
Finding the best way to actualize potential: this is my mandate as a tutor. Anyone can learn anything by connecting that which is known to that which is unknown. This is how everyone learns. Teaching is identifying the process which best allows this connection to happen. This process is expedited by aiding a student’s understanding and utilization of metaphor. Beyond offering lectures, exercises, testing, and analysis, teachers must help students find metaphoric connections between things they know and things they want to know. Using the analytics of cutting-edge, online pedagogical systems, I can help almost any student find their way to approach any subject.
I currently offer private tutoring services in:
- Grades 1-8: English, math, sciences, humanities, philosophy, music, and French
- Grades 9-12: English, philosophy, humanities, and music
- Post-secondary: English and philosophy
- SSAT tutoring and private school application assistance
