| I possess a Masters degree at Brock University in Applied Disability Studies, specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis. Previously I received #.#.##. from McMaster University in the Human Behavior with Autism and Behavioral Science specialization program. I have had a wide range of experience in the developmental sector as a volunteer, student, and employee. I was an active volunteer at Best Buddies McMaster Chapter so I have worked with all ages and types of needs, and had placement settings in Autism classrooms, and an ABA clinic. For three summers I was employed with Community Living Hamilton as a summer student respite support worker at a Cottage where I was in charge of medication administration, transportation, cooking, cleaning and care work. For 2 years I worked as a Support Worker in a skill-acquisition group home at Community Living to support and teach daily living skills. I currently work as a Behaviour Services Consultant at Community Living Toronto in a specialized resources homes for children diagnosed with ASD. I am currently looking for occasional respite care for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
