Reliable, creative and energetic caregiver with lots of experience!

With a strong passion for community, I continuously strive to build safe and supportive spaces while incorporating creativity as a communication tool. I have always loved working with children and youth, in ways that help each individual learn and grow together through unique experiences.
I have had volunteer and work experience in community settings giving me varied skills and the knowledge to work with children, youth, and adults with special needs. Last summer I had the pleasure to hold a camp counselor position alongside the art activity staff role at Camp Winston. Camp Winston is a camp for children with varying complex neurological disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Anxiety, and other learning disabilities.
In the past, I have held positions working as an assistant at the Council for Persons with Disabilities and in the Learning Life Skills classroom at Thomas A. Stewart Secondary School. In addition to promoting inclusion within community environments, I assisted and instructed indoor and outdoor activities for people ranging from age 4 - 30 with learning, mental and physical disabilities.
