| Hello! My name is Hayley and I am a 20 year old student. I have just recently moved to downtown Toronto from the rainy west coast. I am very experienced in special needs care! For most of my life my Mom has been a high school special needs teacher and has done lots of out side of class work. So it has always been a part of my life. Since the age of 15 I have done respite care on my own with multiple kids with different skills and abilities. I took them to appointments, planned activities for us, etc. During high school I was a coach with a special need soccer program. Along with that I also worked in a special needs day summer camp.

| I am a 20 year old female currently studying Art Education at Concordia University and am in my 3rd year of playing varsity rugby. I have worked for the YMCA of Central East Ontario Since 2014 and have worked with varying needs since starting there. This past summer I worked at a camp specifically for those with special needs (ages 6-30) and absolutely loved it! I provided some respite care for one family this summer and would really like to continue as I plan to work with special need after I finish my degree. I also know basic ASL and would love an excuse to practice and expand my vocabulary. I am high energy and love the creative mindsets of those I work with. For the past eight months I have been working for an agency called classic life care providing respite care and medical care for children. | I am currently a recent graduate of the University of Alberta with a Biology/Psychology degree. I have worked as an Senior Resident Assistant in Lister Hall, a Respite Care Worker for a young adult with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and I volunteer with the Steadward Centre teaching swimming lessons to children and adolescents with physical and mental disabilities. I am a certified lifeguard with CPR-C training and I also have experience dealing safety management working on patrol in residence after hours. I have my own vehicle and a Class 5 Drivers Licence. I have worked at a summer day camp in the past and was in charge of groups of 5-10 children at a time. I am a hard worker and I hope to pursue a career in rehabilitation medicine and am looking for a summer job that provides life experience. My wage is negotiable and I am always looking to learn if your child has conditions that need extra support. Some of my hobbies are dancing, singing, playing instruments, playing sports, and reading. I like the outdoors and trying new things. In my spare time, I am also employed by the Edmonton Eskimos as a CFL Cheerleader.

| I am currently in my final year of a Bachelor of Arts majoring in psychology and minoring in sociology. I am taking spring/summer terms off and am planning to finish my final term in the fall. I have about 8 years of experience working with both children and adults with special needs in a therapy group setting as well as an in-home respite care setting. I have worked with individuals with ASD, OCD, GAD, ADHD, sensory perception disorder, Down's syndrome as well as cognitive delays and intellectual disabilities, and the past 2 years I have worked with an individual with SMA. I have experience and am comfortable working with individuals with a tendency to become physically aggressive toward themselves or others. I am comfortable with cleaning and organizing the house, as well as cooking although I am not the most experienced chef. I am a hard worker and great at taking direction, as well as having a large amount of patience when working with different types of individuals.

| I possess a Masters degree at Brock University in Applied Disability Studies, specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis. Previously I received #.#.##. from McMaster University in the Human Behavior with Autism and Behavioral Science specialization program. I have had a wide range of experience in the developmental sector as a volunteer, student, and employee. I was an active volunteer at Best Buddies McMaster Chapter so I have worked with all ages and types of needs, and had placement settings in Autism classrooms, and an ABA clinic. For three summers I was employed with Community Living Hamilton as a summer student respite support worker at a Cottage where I was in charge of medication administration, transportation, cooking, cleaning and care work. For 2 years I worked as a Support Worker in a skill-acquisition group home at Community Living to support and teach daily living skills. I currently work as a Behaviour Services Consultant at Community Living Toronto in a specialized resources homes for children diagnosed with ASD. I am currently looking for occasional respite care for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

During the pandemic I fast-tracked and became a Co-Teacher during a very difficult time when our students truly needed support.
