Hi! My name is Amy and I am excited to be available to provide respite and child care services! I am currently in my final year of schooling to become a teacher. I grew up with a sibling with moderate-severe autism and have been working with him in a child care/ aide role since age 12. I have also had the privilege of teaching dance to special needs children! Further, I have been a respite care worker for various families for approximately 6 years. I have also worked for Between Friends at their awesome Camp Bonaventure! I have seen first hand how important respite can be for parents and I feel lucky to be able to provide this service.
