Special Needs Care in Olds

| I have worked in the disability sector since 2014. I have worked in 24 hour homes, day programs, community access and respite. I have worked with all ages, but have worked mainly with adults. I have worked with a very large spectrum of people with developmental disability. I’m passionate about what I do, and I am hoping to work for a company or family that is not subjecting to the recent vaccine mandates. I am believer in choice and human rights. I am not vaccinated, but will work with people who are or not, I do not discriminate.

| I have recently graduated with a diploma as a Community Support Worker. My relevant experience includes childcare (both private and for an organization); senior meal prep, service, and companionship; outreach, employment support, and personal care with adults with disabilities of all ages; working as a Support Worker in a homeless shelter; working as a Support Worker in group homes; working as a Support Worker with federal inmates in a half-way house. I am competent in personal care, meal preparation, grocery shopping and errands, companionship (conversation, baking, crafts, cards, etc.), medication administration, and many other aspects of daily living in all ages. I reside just West of Olds. I have a reliable SUV, valid class 5 drivers license , Standard First Aid & CPR C, Basic Life Support, Naloxone Training, Community Support Worker Diploma, Clean Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Checks with Protected B Security Clearance, Food Safety Basics, and many other certifications.
