Special Needs Care in Carleton Place

| I have several years of working with children with exceptionalities, including; autism, down syndrome, adhd, odd, ocd, and many more. My relevant experiences include my work as; an Enhanced Support Worker, an ECE, a camp counsellor focusing on children with specified needs, and babysitting. I am available for occasional work. | I have been involved with special needs families in many different roles throughout the last 5 years. I have provided respite services, job coaching, and IBI therapy. I am patient and willing to work with families and children to help in whatever ways that I can.

| I was a nanny during highschool for a family that had two boys on the Autism spectrum. while working with those boys I learnt how to navigate and tend to their specific needs and wants. Over the past 6 years I have worked at a a life skills day program , working 1:1 with a client who was non verbal ans faced mobility challenges. Thankfully with my experience now, I have become comfortable and confident working with children, youth and adults.
