| I have worked with seniors at a senior home for the last four years and before that volunteered at many homes as well. I would love to be a companion who helps with meals, cleaning and some care. I do not have transportation but will in December.

| I have been a mobile personal trainer for over 15 years. I am a certified yoga instructor, trained in seniors fitness, rehabilitation, osteopathic therapy and pre and post natal fitness. I have worked with many seniors and adolescents. My dad has been diagnosed with dementia about 7 years ago. I have had to help my mom with running errands and helping my dad at home.

| I am a caring, supportive and patient person. I have worked with a divers group of individuals, from seniors, physical, development and mental health for over 17 years. I truly love helping others and to ensure their day is a little brighter. I have raised my family and still have lots of care and patience.

| I am a compassionate person by nature. I enjoy helping others, I am available for in home care including all aspects of daily living and personal care, I am also willing to go to facilities or hospitals for companionship and care. I have experience working with clients with dementia and clients who require Complex care. Over the past year I have been providing in home care for a client with ALS. Job duties: all aspects of daily living including personal care ( peri care, washroom , bathing, dressing, grooming,) Lifts and transfers from and to wheelchair, ROM excercises, meal/feeding assistance, Tube Feed and making tube feed blends from scratch, use of suction machine, use of Bi Pap machine and oxygen administration, dressing changes, providing ongoing support and companionship, communiting with Client effectively when she was verbal and gained communication skills when client became non verbal, Palliative care, medication and supplement administration. I like to consider myself a lifelong learner I always want to gain new skills and improve the skills I already have. I am always open to change and adapt to new situations when needed.

| My favourite pastime was being around seniors in any capacity I could as a youngster. Through my experiences, I have learnt that every elderly individual and/or their family, comes with a story, journey and way of doing things that is unique to them. I value that uniqueness and as such, I let them guide me in how best to support them while maintaining safety as the utmost priority. I have gained experience from taking care of both my grandmothers, my grandfather and also my previous father-in-law until the time they left this earth, as well as spending vast amounts of extended periods with many seniors. I have an understanding of dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and many other aspects of senior care. My goal is to fulfill family and person-centred requirements while learning and acknowledging independence, comfort and holistic wellness and to do it all in a way that I wish to have for myself, should I be fortunate enough to experience senior living.
