Senior Care in Sydney Mines

| My name is Bethany and I have been working with people of all ages for most of my adult life. I have several years of many experience and 1 year of experience as a Community Care Worker with CarePartners in Ontario. I was responsible for home care visits which included personal hygiene care, respite, companionship, meal prep, house work, errands and some light transfers. I really enjoyed this line of work and am really interested in continuing my experience working with seniors here in Cape Breton. I am currently working 3 days a week as a nanny for a baby but I have Monday and Tuesday that I am available. Please feel free to get in touch if I might be of help.

| My name is Bethany and I worked in the homecare field as a Community Care Worker in Ontario in 2021. I was trained through Care Partners Ontario and worked around my community going home to home and visiting nursing homes as well. My duties included: Personal Care (bathing, showering, help getting dressed, brushing teeth & dentures, changing etc.), housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, grocery shopping, etc. I do not have experience in nursing or administering any medication but I helped my clients to organize their meds and remind them when to take it. I am a caring and nurturing person. I really loved working in homecare and would love to continue here in Nova Scotia. I am a musician and artist who loves to chat and has alot of fun socializing with people of all ages. My favourite part of the job was the companionship portion because I really enjoy getting to know people and forming relationships.
