My name is Bethany and I worked in the homecare field as a Community Care Worker in Ontario in 2021. I was trained through Care Partners Ontario and worked around my community going home to home and visiting nursing homes as well. My duties included: Personal Care (bathing, showering, help getting dressed, brushing teeth & dentures, changing etc.), housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, grocery shopping, etc. I do not have experience in nursing or administering any medication but I helped my clients to organize their meds and remind them when to take it. I am a caring and nurturing person. I really loved working in homecare and would love to continue here in Nova Scotia. I am a musician and artist who loves to chat and has alot of fun socializing with people of all ages. My favourite part of the job was the companionship portion because I really enjoy getting to know people and forming relationships. I am currently living in Sydney Mines but have my own transport and can drive to Sydney. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I am an open book!
