Dog Sitters in Kanata

| I don't have any professional experience with pet care, although I have owned pets currently and in the past. I had a sheltie a few years ago, and now I have a white terrier. I very much enjoy being in the company of dogs.

| I’m from a family that believe in the idea of having pets around . Growing up we had various dogs ranging from German-shepherds to Rottweilers living with us. I was responsible to feeding them and seldom taking them on walks. Honestly, I grew to love the art of interacting with the canine species.

| My name is Leah , and after years of convincing my parents of getting a family pet, we have now had our pet whippet for 5 years. I am a huge dog lover and would love the opportunity to work with pups of all kinds. I am going into nursing school in the fall of 2023, having aspirations of opening up my own nurse practitioner clinic when I graduate school. Having the experience of working with dogs would not only be helpful towards you and other families, but also to be used as a positive distraction for me during my studies. I am very committed to my fitness journey, so I would consider myself quite active. My availability is flexible and am willing to start whenever!

| I'm looking to supplement my government income with something i can do from my home. I prefer small dogs, taking them for walks, playing with them. I have no pets, 2 older kids who would help if I needed it. Small yard but prefer taking them for walks if the weather permits it (not too cold, or too snowy etc). For overnight guest dogs a dog bed or crate is probably best.

| Im a medical graduate and would like to apply for dog daycare job as a side job, as I have some experience with all kinds of dogs, big or small, domestic or shelter. And most importantly, I completely adore them!

| Hi there! I am an avid pet lover and have dogs of my own back in Australia. After moving to Canada last year, I have been missing my furry companion so much that I hope to channel all that energy into other dogs that I will be meeting.

| Animals love me! Working with children & clients over the years teaches you patience and adaptability. You have to learn what works for your student and client. I've ran a program w 10 toddlers that could not yet speak and learned how to communicate with them and understand their feelings & needs and identify learning opportunities. Alot of my experience involves learning through play and implementing activities / subject matter to engage my students and or clients. I'm hoping to transfer my skills to the pet sitting industry to one day be able to work from home as a pet day care / boarder. I have had a dog all my life up until 4 years ago when I received a cat after my dogs passed away of old age. I know how to care for dogs from pups to elder ages. Dogs provide so much joy. Due to the fact that I live in an apartment I would love to have a smaller sized one around to take care of.
