Child Care in Norland

| I have worked with children for about 8 years, my first two years of working with children were in high school, as I took co-op classes and attented a YMCA child care everyday in grade 11 and 12, where I was then hired after my co-op placement was finished and I graduated. I worked there for a year and some of my duties were, supervising the children, preparing childrens beds for nap time, rubbing child's back if they had troubles settling down, supervising outdoor play, supervising/assisting children with brushing teeth, changing diapers, cleaning the floors, and sanitizing the toys. I then went onto college for ECE, and earned 4 credits. I decided to take a break from school, and work for a year at Upper Canada Child Care, where I was responsible for cleaning the room, sanitizing toys, cleaning the office, supervising children and assisting in anyway a child needs, programming, playground saftey, water flushing, and filing. I am very passionate about what I do, because I love seeing children smiling and happy, I love interacting with children, and getting to know them, as children are very interesting to talk too, and listen too. I have worked with all ages of children from toddlers to school age.
