I just recently moved to London from Vancouver B.C. My husband still works in Vancouver and is only home for 6 days a month. We don't have any children, so my schedule is wide open. While living in Vancouver I worked for the school district as an Educational Assistant, and then joined the Behaviour Intervention and Assessment Team. I worked in these positions for 9 years and loved it. I have experience with all types of children, including children on the autism spectrum, children with Down Syndrome, children with Epilepsy, and children with behavioural challenges due to childhood traumas. I love working with children and families, but I found the politics of working for the district sometimes challenging. I am looking for a position where I can continue working with children and families, just outside of a school setting.
