Nannies in Okanagan Falls

| I was a live in nanny for two RCMP members who have a 1 year old and 3 year old. I was with their family for a year and a half until they were sadly transferred elsewhere. I then became the childcare worker at a women’s shelter to help make a difference in the children’s lives who came into the shelter, then I was a shared nanny for two 1 year old boys. I went to school for my Paralegal diploma and now am back to childcare, hoping to secure a full time position as a nanny again.

| Growing up in a single-working-parent household from a young age, I am no stranger to caring for younger siblings. I always have cooked and cleaned for others; it's just a part of life. I have since babysat kids ages 6months-12years throughout highschool and college. Most recently, I was a live-out nanny in Penticton for 6 months this past winter (I can provide a reference for this if you like). I am an aunty to a two-year-old and a 4-mo-old. They are the best, but they live in Ontario, so I am missing out on kid-time big time! I know how much work kids are and I feel for parents. I just want to offer my support, care, and efforts wherever I can to make life a little bit easier.

| I’m a personable, nurturing and empathetic young adult who is wanting to start a career in childhood development/child care. I am currently working at a daycare facility and have completed my 20 hour RA (responsible adult) course. I love working with kids and caring for them, as well as helping with a child’s development. I enjoy helping out with cleaning and cooking as well!! Overall, caring for children is something I’m passionate about and has always been something I have wanted to pursue.
