I enjoy caring for children. I'm a patient and caring person and would like to help families.

My experience in babysitting is primarily family and family friends kids, but I am looking for further experience towards my future career and helping families. I love working with and caring for babies, toddlers and children and plan to go into early childhood education in the future. I have helped a lot with my cousin as well from birth to now 7 years old. This gave me experience in changing diapers, preparing meals (including baby food and bottles), care inside and outside the home, some experience in bedtime and nap routines, de-escalation and solutions to playtime arguments between him and his nephew (6 years old), and more. I am currently only G1 licensed, so I can only do pickups/drop-offs in walking distance if the parents are comfortable. My only experience with special needs children is as a classroom helper in the special education and life skills classes in high school, I do not have experience in one-on-one direct care of special needs children. I am good with following parental instructions and I am willing to assist with pet care, homework, clean up, and other such tasks during childcare hours. I am typically better with babies, toddlers and young children due to having more experience with those ages.
