Seeking experienced, caring, full-time, personal caregiver/personal support worker to assist an adult female with a physical disability with activities of daily living. Duties include: providing personal care (ie. transferring to/from wheelchair, bathing, dressing, ROM exercises, meal prep, etc.) as directed. Training will be provided; PSW experience is an asset, but not a requirement. The position requires a willingness to occasionally travel to/from medical appointments, errands, etc. to assist as needed. Other related duties include: meal preparation, light housecleaning & laundry; as well as assisting with parenting duties as directed. A valid driver’s license, CPR/first aid certificate & criminal reference check are all required. Hours of work will be split-shift & will include a combination of: day time hours, evening hours, overnight shifts & scheduled on-call hours. Therefore, flexibility is essential. I'm in a wheelchair and I need someone to pick me up and take me to appointments I do not need a special vehicle I have a transport chair. Most appointments are in Hamilton. Wheel me in and out as well.
