my son has autism and daycare centres are refusing to take him

Searching for a care giver for my son when I am away from home on my military duties.

Currently- I am looking for a contracted babysitter/nanny 3 weekends per month, Saturdays only 8am-8pm approx with the occasional week evening. We have 3 children (4 every other weekend, all boys). We are moving into Carleton Place in 3 weeks time (currently live in Ashton). I also will be looking for a helper for 1 week (Second Week of June) to help assist as I will be recovering from a surgery. The month of June I will only require 2 Saturdays of care. With this all being said, my boys can try to push limits (my oldest is 10) and my youngest who is 3.5 has speech delays and requires a lot of hands on attention. For example: If your back is turned- you will lose him. My middle son is 6.5 and he is pretty easy going as long as he is stimulated with activities and structure. Should you be interested further, please let me know and we could set up a few trial weekends (2-3 before committing fully) I just ask that if you wanted the job we would treat it like a job outside the home and provide minimum 2 weeks notice if termination on either parties end, after the trail runs Duties will include- light household cleaning up after the children as well as entertaining the children and letting our two small shih tsus outside every few hours as well as meal and snack prep for the kids.

Provide one on one support or classroom support for children with a variety of special needs who are enrolled in child care. Some positions are split shift (7-9 am; 3-5 pm). Children may have autism or behavioural needs.

I am looking to hire a fun and creative person to provide care for my older teen son with special needs while I am at work. He is a very sweet, funny , and a creative kid. He is verbal and non violent with the following diagnosis,Cognitive Delays due to head trauma from sports, Sensory Disorder, Anxiety, OCD. Requirements: -Preferably someone active -Able to be creative and crafty -Able to facilitate with light schoolwork and staying active -Must have Vehicle and Drivers Licences -A natural positive mentor nature Location: we are located in Carleton Place but I work in Nepean so somewhere along this route or close surrounding Hours: -We are flexible and can coordinate with our other workers to give you more or less time then you need Pay: -an hourly or flat rate that can be discussed -gas for when he is in your vehicle

I’m looking for a sitter/respite worker for my 18 year old son with anxiety,ocd,add, post concussion syndrome, and troubles with regulating emotions and making decisions due to head injury’s from past sports. He is non violent, and Verbal.

Our oldest will be 3 in April and is a healthy, energetic and very smart toddler. Our youngest will be 1 in February and was born with Cystic Fibrosis. We require a nanny who has knowledge of and preferably experience in the care of a child with CF.

I have 3 years experience working with seniors in all different settings. I have a personal support worker certificate, health care aid certificate, CPR &first aid. I also have 1 -2 years experience working with special needs children and in other childcare settings.
