| I am a caring person and I am currently taking up my qualifications for Certificate III in Individual Support and Certificate IV in Disability at JTI College. I believe this course well give me knowledge for my passion on improving the quality of life of disadvantaged people. I understand that my role as a Support Worker involves supporting a developed personalised support programs and provide in-home support with health issues and daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, eating, transport and budgeting as well as assist those in their care during domestic activities such as eating meals and showering, provide companionship and support during daily activities. I am dedicated to caring and supporting people with disability. I believe supporting the needs and quality of life of people with disability is one of the most rewarding I will be involved in. My verbal and non-verbal communication skills with culturally diverse clients and those for whom communication is a challenge will help me achieve my goals. My patience and great empathy will also help me in my genuineness to care. I have a current First Aid Certificate, Manual Handling Certificate, Police Check and Working with Children Check result.
