As Carer/ AIN I am a caring, compassionate, social, and responsible individual.

I have completed my Certificate III in Individual Support Ageing and Disability from Bestwest Care, Kwinana. Over the entire training period, I have learned about the varying approaches to thinking, acting, and care elderly people through means of an inclusive, responsive, shared, and mutual mindset. In addition, I was born and brought up in a culture where looking after and providing care to the elderly is an integral part of family responsibility. Moreover, I am a mother of a child and have spent ages, raising her, taking care of her, and loving her. So, I understand the challenges, fragility, and complexity of the responsibilities of a caregiver as well as both tangible and intangible rewarding aspects of a caregiver.
Given this, I confidently feel that I am the best fit as a caregiver and can make a difference the aged people by keeping them happy through the creation of a homely atmosphere in the aged care facilities. Everybody needs to pass through this stage and when they are nearing the golden age, we as care workers must make it a point to support them to our best capacity.
