I enjoy working with households who need someone to care for the ones they love and make their daily lives easier and more enjoyable. As a support worker, I always aim to give the same level of care that I would like to receive for a member of my own family. I have experience in aged care, personal care and mobility support for more than 5 years while helping care for both of my grandparents at different times at the later stages of their lives. My grandfather had Parkinson’s and Alzheimer's so he needed very detailed care for many years. Duties I am happy to help with include driving to and from appointments (My car has ample room for wheelchairs). Grocery shopping, laundry, ironing, general house cleaning, gardening and any other odd jobs. I am also happy to tackle general handyman jobs around the house. I also have more than 10 years of experience working in education overseas in primary and high schools. I also have 10 years of experience teaching yoga to groups and individuals with injuries and chronic conditions as private clients in Asia, Europe and Australia.
