I am Lauren Felicia Agatha currently a Nursing student at the University of Notre Dame writing to express my sincere interest in the Carer position at your institution. Having recently completed a clinical placement at Mercycare Rockingham, I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to your team.
The experience at my clinical placement was a blend of gratifying and challenging moments. I formed meaningful relationships with both residents and staff, which was fundamental in developing communication and empathetic skills. Practical nursing skills and effective time management were also
key areas of growth, proving essential in healthcare practice. From this placement, I saw that nursing extends beyond technical skills to include building relationships and addressing the emotional needs of patients. The lessons I learned, skills I acquired, and relationships I have formed were crucial in refining my approach to nursing.
