Qualified Certificate II in Animal Studies and care. I have grown up with animals all my life and love all species from spiders to cows.
I have experience working with dogs in a dog daycare facility for over a year, offering quality enrichment activities, general health checks, grooming, and basic training.
I also volunteer with my local animal welfare facility, The Animal Protection Society. Here I focus on the cats and kittens seeking loving homes and ensure their current housing facilities are kept clean, disease free and safe.
All the animals I care for receive high quality enrichment, love, care, nutrition, ability to express natural behaviors, shelter, and are appropriately socialised.
Any training I provide is always positive reinforcement based. I like to focus on redirecting unwanted behaviors and assisting clients with upkeeping proper training techniques to see the best results.
For all work I do I follow the Animal Welfare Act 2002 (Western Australia) and the Five Domains of Animal Welfare. I also take care to follow laws and regulations as set by local councils and Western Australian Government Legislations.
