Seeking a babysitter near Vineyard for 2 children for two hours a day.

Hi there! We’re looking for a kind, experienced, and reliable nanny or babysitter to care for our infant daughter, who will be about 5 months old when care begins. This would be for Fridays only, from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 or 5:00 PM, starting soon. We’re hoping to find someone who is very comfortable with infants and familiar with their needs and routines, engaged and interactive with a no screen time approach for babies, comfortable around cats (we have 2 friendly cats), and dependable and communicative with a warm and attentive presence. This position is temporary, as we plan to enroll our daughter in daycare when she’s closer to 1-year-old. There may also be occasional opportunities for additional hours as needed. We are looking for a great nanny to help care for 1 child. Mostly will need 2 days a week, but potential for more days if interested. My neighbor and I have 2 babies close to the same age, and we are also open to a nanny share. Where we would alternate days, but there may occasionally be some overlap with both babies. Mothers helper We are looking for a kind and reliable mothers helper one day a week on Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mom will be home during the shift and will briefly leave to pick up the older kids from school. You will start by watching the baby for the first one to two hours. After that we would love help with folding laundry, wiping down counters, tidying toys, loading or unloading the dishwasher, and light organizing like kids drawers or lunchboxes. Occasionally you may play with one or both of the older kids, but mom will usually be nearby. Looking for someone warm, dependable, and comfortable with young children who takes initiative and enjoys helping in a family setting.
