We are looking to develop a relationship with someone that would eventually be comfortable being with our sons overnight while we go on a short trip in September. Our 11-year-old son is developmentally disabled, cognitively like a 3-year-old. He is extremely loving and entertaining. He has a passion for pretend play, swimming in the pool and building with his legos. We would like to start with a schedule of once a week (we are flexible on times) so we can all get to know each other and work up to overnights. While our son is day time potty trained and even mostly at night too, we do need someone comfortable with toileting issues. We also would love someone comfortable with our two labradoodles.

I am looking for a caregiver for my son age 4 for Tuesday afternoons while I work. I also have three daughters ages 11, 9, and 6. I am primarily looking for a caregiver who could pick my son up from preschool at 12:00 p.m. and be with him until my daughters are home from school at 3:30 p.m. My son is active and fun. He loves to ride his bike, go to parks, wrestle, jump on the trampoline, and play imaginative games. He plays well with his siblings and peers. I am considering working until 5:00 p.m. if I can find a caregiver who is also able to pickup my daughters from school and be with them until then. I am an active mom who loves to be outside with my kids. I believe in a child centered parenting approach and modeling empathy and respect to children. I am a counselor by trade and new to entering the work force post graduate school.

Our son loves being held, talked to, listening to music, and playing on the floor. He spends a lot of time sleeping still. He needs help with sleeping, bottle feeding, diaper changes, and practicing age appropriate milestones. We're looking for someone with patience and positive energy to care for him while we work.
