I am looking for a great babysitter for 2 children in Ankeny. I need someone who could help out with picking them from school, getting snacks, and any homework help. I would prefer a babysitter who has their own car (clean record and proof of insurance), who does not smoke, and who is comfortable with pets. Potential for full-time position in summer. Currently schedule would be Monday-Wednesday and Friday for one week alternating with Thursdays the following week. Times would be about 2:30-5:30 p.m. daily. Pets include two Yorkies, who would need to be let out. My daughters are fairly self-sufficient, however need reminders of keeping areas clean, watching dogs, and getting homework done. Your primary responsibility would be to ensure safety to all.

We need an evening sitter to help with our twin boys. They are 5 years old and love to play, read, and talk. They have been diagnosed with autism but they are very smart and affectionate. The babysitting would be in our home, usually while we're home. We initially need two nights a week (Saturday and Sunday) but are also looking for daytime help when our au pair is on vacation or is unable to work. A typical night consists of playing with the boys for a few hours and making their supper, then playing with them again, and getting them ready for bedtime at 8.
