We're looking for a regular, part-time Nanny to help take care of our 11-month-old S during the day. I work from home, and my husband works out of the house most days. S is a sweet and curious boy who has recently discovered the joy of being outdoors. He enjoys reading Dr. Seuss and pulling pots and pans out of the cabinet. We live just outside the town of Ashland on the edge of the country so there's plenty of space to play outside when the weather is nice. My mother-in-law currently takes care of him two days a week. Her schedule is flexible though, so if you're interested and we feel like there's a good, mutual fit, then we can make the schedule work to accommodate everyone's needs. We'd love to find a nanny who can commit to at least the next year as we anticipate needing a Nanny until S starts school.

We are looking for a babysitter that we can establish a relationship with who will hopefully become close with our family. We aren't looking for something with a structured schedule, but rather something sporadic and random for us parents to get a small break. We'd of course give warning and not expect anyone to be on "call". We do have 3 dogs (all nice and well behaved). The ideal babysitter would be okay being around the dogs.
