We are a family looking for a part-time sitter to drive our 4-year-old to school Monday-Friday from March through August 2025 while my husband is overseas. Candidates must have clean driving record, be extremely punctual and reliable. We live in South Arlington and are looking for someone early mornings to help finish getting our daughter ready for school and transport her for 8-8:30 drop off. The school is located nearby in Arlington (about a 15 min drive in traffic). Hours would be 7-8:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. Open to afternoon hours as well if candidate has flexibility. Must have your own vehicle and valid drivers license. We will supply car seat. Our daughter is chatty, fun, loves music and all things pink and princess! My husband and I are looking for a few great part-time nannies to care for our little one at our home beginning in January. In mid-January the role would be sporadic babysitting, to get to know us and her and so I could fill in at my work some days if needed before maternity leave officially ends. Come late February, our needs will be more consistent, up to 4-5 days per week. We are interested in hiring one to three people with at least 1 year of newborn and infant nannying experience who are studying early childhood development or nursing. As our daughter is arriving November 2024, the day to day expectation of any nanny we hire will be to maintain feeding, toileting, and sleeping routines in a safe and enriching environment in our home. I have some evening work to do on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting the week of Jan 13, 2025 till May. I need a sitter to stay in the house from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on those days. Most of the times my daughter is asleep during those hours, but she might wake up and might need a feeding or a diaper change (very few times because I change her before leaving) or she might want to play a little bit, but she is usually tired by that time. I would love to meet the sitter few days before the week of Jan 13th to get to know them and for my daughter to get used to them.
