Hello! I studied piano throughout my elementary and secondary school years. As a teen, I was privileged to be taught by Mrs. Virginia Courson, who studied piano at the renowned Julliard School of Music.
I graduated from Bethel College in St. Paul, Minnesota where I studied both piano and voice. I began to teach private piano in Colorado when my oldest child was four years old. Since that time my family moved to Michigan and then to Ohio. Many of my students started with me in-person in those states and then continued with me online after I moved. Finally, I am back in Colorado and I have a few lesson slots to fill.
I am blessed to hold the position of church worship leader at Lakewood Christian Fellowship in Lakewood, Colorado. I also have volunteered my music talents in both the homeschool and Christian school communities.
My passion is helping new students, whether children or adults get started on a life-time skill of playing the piano.
