About the business
I own a private tutoring service that addresses reading difficulties. I have more than 20 years teaching experience with a background in special education and specialized training in reading intervention and remediation. When a parent contacts us they will receive a free, 60 minute in-take session, to help them decide if this tutoring service is right for them. When a family chooses my tutoring services, they have a choice of locations: in-home, at school, or at the local library. The tutoring agreement includes informative assessments, individualized instruction, progress reports and ongoing communication between the parent, tutor, and the classroom teacher.
