I have always had dogs, all my life. When I was 6 years old, I lost my dog to a kennel incident and in 2008 started pet sitting animals around my neighborhood. I am known for my way with animals and my passion is what makes me an excellent pet-checker.

Becoming first aid certified and having too many references to count, in 2013, I got serious about providing in-home care for pets because our pets thrive on a routine. Putting pets in the car, dropping them off at loud kennels, or an unfamiliar friend's house exposing them to all types of germs can cause unneeded stress and anxiety on your animal. I provide in-home pet care which is ideal for all pets. I jump right into your pet's usual routine, in their own home, like you're not even gone! This past year, I adopted a German Shepherd/Labrador mix named Charlene (left) from a kill shelter in North Carolina. "Dogs have a way of finding people who need them and filling an emptiness we didn't know we had." She keeps me on my toes and is learning something new as well as teaching me something new everyday.
