Is Your Child Ready for Kindergarten?

At Kindergarten Kickstart Progressive Playgroups, children have fun learning new skills that will help them prepare for a successful transition into kindergarten. The program's academic lessons are aligned with the Colorado Department of Education's Pre-K standards for reading, writing, and math. Some of the pre-reading skills students will learn include letter recognition, letter sounds, rhyming, and reading sight words and three to four letter words. We use the Writing Without Tears program to teach writing skills. In our math lessons, students will learn number recognition, number sense, geometric shapes and how to add, subtract, and problem solve.

You can chose to create your own playgroup with 5 of your child's friends or join an open playgroup at our University Park location. Playgroups are limited to 6 children so that every child can receive the support they need. Playgroups meet once a week for an hour and a half.
