I am a tutor who usually focuses on math from middle school through high school, including test prep. I can also tutor other subjects and provide homework help.

Today tutoring is becoming increasingly important. I have heard from students I have tutored that their teacher "goes too fast" or "doesn't explain things well". When a student falls behind in a subject, the lack of understanding can rapidly become cumulative and more and more difficult to rectify.

That's where I can help. I love to teach and have the patience and insight to help almost anyone come to a place of understanding. And just like every child is unique, all tutors are not the same. I like to believe that I can offer your child the advantage that makes a real difference in attaining success.

My credentials: I was a successful enrolled actuary in the pension field for over 20 years. Several years ago I suffered a mild repetitive-motion disability which now prevents me from having a computer-intensive job position. I have been working as a tutor in the Denver area since January of 2015 and have tutored between 5-10 students. My rates are $35 an hour and I will come to your location within ~10-15 miles of Cherry Creek.
