Happy Hound Club is run by positive reinforcement trainers. Our playgroup supervisors are schooled in canine behavior and dog body language signals. Our daycare is limited to 13 dogs daily, with two expert supervisors. By limiting the number of dogs in our playgroup and providing top-quality supervision, we can make sure all of our members remain safe and have fun. Our supervisors go through rigorous training in reading canine body language so they can spot signs of trouble long before anything bad goes down. All staff members are certified in Red Cross Pet first aid.

Happy Hound Club member dogs are carefully evaluated before being admitted to the playgroup. Only dogs with appropriate temperaments will be allowed. That means dogs who are intimidated by large groups, bullies, etc. will not be admitted to ensure the safety of the entire group. Our playgroup member dogs' well-being (both physical and mental) is our top priority!

Our facility features foam padded floors to minimize joint fatigue and injuries associated with rambunctious play. The playgroup is controlled using positive reinforcement-based methods - no spray bottles or harsh methods here! Instead, all dog club members learn a few basic cues when they first arrive that our group supervisors use to control the action.
