Maxxim and Interim Home Health both accept pediatric Medicaid patients. The problem is, that they don't have LPN's or RN's in our area. Not exactly sure why but we can help with that problem by finding our own qualified nurse and sending them to the agency. There are some nurses that would rather care for pediatric patients in the home setting and there are some that would rather sit with the elderly but when they advertise, they don't say "We have a sweet little 9 year old with severe cerebral palsy that needs your help."... So the ads are not directed towards the care for our children.
