Looking for an occasional babysitter to help with our 11yr old son on days when we have scheduling conflicts. These days normally fall on Wednesdays or Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Rockville. (other days may pop up as well) Since our son is homeschooled but enrolled in a virtual classes for most of the day, you won't be required to teach/tutor but to provide basic sitter duties during the day. If willing, Possible light cleaning or cooking is helpful but not required. This is a great position for a college student, retiree or mom who has flexibility or knows when they are available for an entire day (with a 5-7 day notice). I have a 15-year-old daughter who is in the 9th grade. My travel schedule varies and I often may have to leave town without another adult available to supervise her. She plays volleyball and runs track so some days she will be coming home from practice are games/meets later. She needs some supervision with homework and there could be areas of tutoring she needs. The ideal person will also help with light housework and meals.

Pick up one child from school and take to park applying one on one attention and then pick up other child from day care and bring both home. Once home, bathe, tutor and help with homework and arts and crafts (no TV/tablets) until they are fed and prepared for bed. Clean, organize and sanitize all children's play areas, children's bathrooms, bottles, clothes, backpacks, etc and prepare for next day.
