Our 11-year-old daughter has ADHD and generalized learning disabilities. At first sight, one cannot tell she has a learning disability, because she is very bright, funny, and high functioning. However, she has struggled with math her whole life and has had an IEP since pre-school. She is currently failing 6th grade math and we need a tutor to get her on track for the remainder of the school year. She will be in summer school in June, and we would be interested in continuing tutoring next school year as well.
Looking for someone with playful and positive energy, who uses positive reinforcement and fun to engage with students, along with experience teaching math to kids with learning disabilities.
