Hello, I am looking for a tutor for my daughter who is in 7th grade. She has ADHD and ASD (level 1). She also struggles academically and is currently working at the 3rd grade level for math and 4th grade level for English. However, she learns well and is engaged in a 1:1 setting. I would like someone to come to the house. I'm thinking a few afternoons a week after 3:30 or possibly weekends but I am flexible about schedule. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Chandler family needs a math tutor for senior high school student for College Algebra to get caught up on all concepts and content for the 3rd quarter. Remedial help may be needed. In addition to homework catching up, preparation for missed quizzes and tests. I'm think 2-3 days a week to start perhaps 1-2 hours. Once caught up, 1-2 days a week to on track in math and other subjects including an online only class.

Stonington family needs a part-time tutor for Math. Specifically, pre-algebra skills now moving into algebra. My child has learning disabilities we can discuss but is motivated, hard working, but just needs one-on-one help to be able to get into mainstream algebra 1 before next year if possible. His case manager at school said we need pre-algebra skills taught and mastered first. We will be able to do weekdays most of the time but he is going to play golf in school starting in a month and then for those few months will need either sat or Sunday sessions. We live in Stonington. My son is the sweetest person and wants to succeed, he just needs more one-on-one help. He prefers people who are "warm" and patient as well as his processing speed can lag a bit but is getting better.

Pembroke Pines family needs a part-time tutor for reading. Two children, both age 5. No learning disabilities. They currently know the alphabet and can slowly sound out words, but they are slow, and sometimes have difficulty staying focused. I think they are on a normal, (slow) track to becoming independent readers. I would like to add some tutoring and volume of repetitive of sounding out words, in order to help them to read sooner.
