Hello! I would love to help your child or teen learn or practice their Chinese or English! I am a graduate of the US Chinese Flagship Program and I have just returned from spending a year in Taiwan!

I'm currently a freshman at IU Bloomington studying to be a German teacher at the middle or high school level! I've been tutoring in German since I was in 8th grade, and tutoring in other subject since I was a freshman in high school.

I have a valid teaching license from the State of Indiana. I student taught 3rd and 5th grade. I also taught 5th grade in Indianapolis, IN.

As someone who has been in school 18 of my 23 years on earth, I understand that some subjects can be challenging. While I do not have professional education in tutoring, I do have plenty completing school work and teaching myself new study strategies.

I have taught for over 10 years, ages 5-12. I love math instruction, but also enjoy teaching reading. I have been trained in Orton Gillingham instruction for intervention strategies in literacy instruction.

I currently tutor in a junior high. In the past, I have tutored first graders in a volunteer position. I have 25 years experience teaching my own children. I have three years experience teaching guitar including classical guitar. I have eight years experience teaching swimming to infants through adults.
