I had a job as an in home caregiver for an elderly couple for 2 years. During holidays and other special occasions, we would keep their son who has down syndrome. He's a very sweet and loving man! Even though he wasn't verbal, I enjoyed spending time with him.
I have always loved children!! I just quit my job as a afterschool/summer camp counselor for the YMCA of the Triangle, so I have experience with all ages and special needs kids.
