I have worked at the hospitals, group homes, home care, assisted leaving and one on one with those that need special care. I always want to see clients leaving well. For about 5yrs I have taking care of many age groups and it gladdens my heart whenever I do that and be part of their well being.

I have extensive experience working with children with special needs. I worked at an autism school as a paraprofessional for 3 years and worked with children ages 5-22 years old. I was a camp counselor at a camp for children with autism and have been a provider for a child with autism for a year.

I studied ASD in undergrad in order to design helpful medical devices. I have a few family members on the spectrum as well. I worked as a substitute teacher in the special education departments of local middle and high schools.

I have learnt how to be patient and listen and be supportive, also professional and responsible to do my duty. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential for working in care. Also being able to listen and understand allows you to be an efficient carer. I have a sense of humor
