Currently seeking another family in Sellwood or Milwaukie with a young child to join a nanny share with our 2 year old boy at the beginning of April. We've had a great nanny arrangement up to this point, but our current share family is moving out of the area.

We already have a fantastic nanny (half the battle) and finding the right family to share care with is important to all of us. We're willing to wait until that special family comes along.

Start Date: As early as April 1st

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Thursday from 8:30a - 5:30p. We're looking for a commitment of 3-4 days per week, hours can be adjusted slightly.

About our Nanny:

Don't be surprised if you come home and find your baby or child and I dancing around the house and singing songs. If you look out the window you might find us smelling flowers and looking at our reflections in Portland's many puddles. You might find us reading, snuggling, doing tummy time, at the library, and making dinosaur costumes! I also know American Sign language and love to share this amazing language with babies and parents. I love to nurture appreciation of nature, communication, joy, curiosity, independence, and respect for self and others. I feel that the most important part of a nanny/parent relationship is trust and communication. I have over 15 years of childcare experience working with children of all ages, as well as kids with disabilities. I'm a Vermonter that landed in Portland after time in East Africa and San Francisco. My background is in Elementary Education and I have a Master's in Conflict Resolution.
