I have worked in Volusia County Schools as a fourth and second grade teacher. I have experience lesson planning and tailoring the curriculum for the individual needs of a small group of students. Additionally I have tutored students ages 6-10 in reading, phonics and math after school at Forest Lake Elementary.

In my second year of teaching 7th grade ELA, but with a bachelor's degree in English Literature, I'm also well qualified to tutor high schoolers as well. I played flute throughout middle and high school, and was a member of the Florida State Marching Chiefs all 4 years. I'd love to help out with flute lessons as well.
