"I highly recommend Nan's Hacienda Assisted Living in Sahuarita Arizona. My parent has been living there for several years and received Exellent care. I am allowed to come and check on him, or visit him anytime I want, without calling first or making an appointment.Everything is always clean and neat. The entire staff is helpful and friendly. Even hard to handle patients, like my father, are treated with respect and more importantly, with love by all the staff and owners. This truly is a wonderful place for Seniors to live. It really feels like home. I would live there if it became necessary for me to live in an assisted living home. In 2017, the owners daughter began to do a larger part in the day to day management of Nans. She is GREAT. She is always happy to answer any questions I might have, and spends a lot of time there. She oversees the staff 24/7 it seems. She decorated for every holiday, and has the family's over for residence birthdays and other important occasions. In all, I recommend Nan's Hacienda Assisted Living the highest recommendation possible. My father has stayed at several homes and institutions prior to moving to Nan's. They are by far the best. Several years ago, before moving my father to Nan's, he was in really bad shape. The institution's are so impersonal and understaffed. They drug down the patients and change the diapers. There is NO quality of life in these large institutions. None. At the small family run assisted living facilities, the seniors receive Love, Great care, Individual Attention, three really good meals a day and snacks, treats, and just about anything they ask for that fits within their diet. This is true especially at Nan's. My father has never missed his Meds there. I have spot checked his Meds during quite a few unolanned, unscheduled visits and everything was always correct and balanced. This is important as some patients family members never visit or just send someone to check their parent once a year or so. At Nan's, I have gotten to meet and talk with other patience family members during their visits. Some of the Seniors children come almost every day. There is a Married couple who check on their mother almost every night. Sometimes grandchildren and extended family drop by as well. Overall, the home is active and filled with happy Seniors and familys. Very good environment. The owner of Nan's is also GREAT. She comes by on a regular basis to double check on everything. She is always a call away as she gave me her cell number as soon as my father moved in. At Nan's, their concentration is on the seniors who are living there as it should be. Nan's employees, unlike larger facilities, do not spend their time texting or on the internet. They spend their time taking care of your loved ones. Try Nan's, you will love it. ... show more
