I worked in a home daycare for 6 years and went on my own for the past 9 years. I only like to have a one to two children at a time. Children need so much attention, I do not want to deprive them from that. For the past two years I had a toddler full time and a little girl before and after school. I started working in my Mothers in-home daycare at sixteen and continued to work for her for six years until she closed her doors. I continued to work for one of our families, in their home for a year and then started in my own home. As the caregiver for your child, I need to be able to meet all their needs. I have always had one to two children and that's all I like to have. Children need attention, love, caring, and a teacher, I want to be able to provide all of them for your child. My house is active and fun, we enjoy being outside when weather permits. We like to go for walks, play at the park, and we love zoo days. I do not have pets, no one smokes, and I enjoy a nice clean home. We love to read, dance, sing, and play pretend. My kids and your child's responsibility is to have fun and I make sure that is what they do. As a mother, I know it has to be very hard to put your trust in someone else to care for you child. To trust an in home daycare is even harder. I assure you teaching, caring for, loving your child is my main responsibility and I take that very seriously.
